Tell Me Something Good

It’s Tuesday!  Time to share your good news.  Today’s edition is going to be the bragging about my man edition.

  1. Congrats to my trainer’s husband, Chantry.  (It’s pronounced pantry but with a “ch”).  On Saturday he competed in Houston and broke a World Record for squat!  He’s in the 240 lb. weight class and lifted 733 lbs.  Damn!

  2. Congrats to my friend Deirdre’s husband, David.  He just got into the Screen Editors Union and is editing for a TLC show.  Best part of being in the union?  Medical insurance.  Yahoo!

  3. Congrats to my husband, Henri.  He was in charge of setting up our son’s “big boy” room.  He bought all the furniture and wall decorations for under $400 and set it up yesterday to surprise our son, much to Little Henry’s delight.  And he’s teaching little man how to skateboard.  Yay!

How about you?  Do you have any good news to share?

  1. Two thumbs up for the Traugott family. I (David Connolly) have been cigarette free for two weeks as of 10:30AM July 16th, 2013.

  2. I won my gold match today. And survived a very hot ball hockey game…even though we lost! It was super hot in that arena and I lived to tell about it!

  3. Lol about congratulating hubby on getting the big task of renovating the little one’s room 🙂 But if it is something he do enjoy, the congrats.
Something good from my side: I learned Yoga and enjoying it 2-3 times a week with my daughter in the comfort of our own home 🙂
I love these weekly good news posts of yours. Keep you and your readers from thinking about the good things – staying positive.

    1. I like keeping things positive – it’s more fun that way. Congrats to you for doing yoga with your daughter. I used to do (I’m dating myself here) Jane Fonda videos with my mom and I loved the time we spent together.
