Little Champions

I could write a long post about the Splash-N-Dash held early this morning.  Mention the sponsors, interview the volunteers, list some funny quotes overheard.  But for me that’s not the true story.  The true story is not woven in a tale; it’s reflected in the expression of each child’s face as they wait to dive in or cross over the finish line.

Here is a story of candid little moments.

This little one was a sprinter!  They almost couldn’t find her name in the roster fast enough to announce it as she crossed the finish line.20130407_093949
