Hey! Put a Towel on, Lady!

Kim and Melissa

Today was a bit of a hectic one.  I overslept, so I didn’t get to the gym until 5:30 a.m., so I only had time for cardio.  Got the kids off to school and then got an application for a part-time job.  (More news on that later.)  I had just enough time to get to 24 for a little posing practice.

The Group X room was having a yoga class so I had to wait in reception with my posing suit and stripper heels on…

I usually do my posing practice at 5 a.m. when no one is around but other gym rats.  Well at lunch time the gym is filled with mommies, kids and seniors.  You can imagine the looks I got!

I had to go to my car to get my phone and when I came back Kim was laughing.  Apparently several people had commented about my “gym attire” and she told them I was the “after” picture of exercise.  One gentleman wanted to know if 24 was selling something today.  (Ima take that as a compliment.)

Then a female manager came out and asked me to put a towel on, as there were children about to be coming out.  Kim and Melissa were having fun laughing at me, ’cause yeah, I just got busted by the 24 Hour Fitness manager.

And you wonder why I workout at 4 a.m.?  LOL!

    1. Yes, I practiced after the yoga class got out. And, may I add, for people saying they were embarrassed by my bikini I sure had a lot of people standing outside the Group X window looking in!

  1. That’s really funny … did they honestly think you were going to work out in that? I can’t believe they handed you a towel. I used to go to a gym where every Saturday morning, there was one section of the downstairs that always had at least 5 people (men and women) in their competition outfits, walking and flexing.

  2. I was laughing at people’s reaction to you. Our gym is out in the suburbs and our main clientele during the day are families and people who are retired.
