Eating Clean is Hard!
One of the key reasons why people give up on their fitness goals is because it’s hard.
- It’s tough to eat chicken and asparagus when your family eats KFC and ice cream in front of you.
- It’s difficult to wake up early to workout when it’s cold. Or raining. Or a Thursday morning.
- It’s downright unbearable to put in effort and not lose 20 lbs. in 3 days!
Yes, it’s hard. It is.
But give yourself a little perspective. I’m sure you’ve done lots of things that were way more difficult than following a meal plan. Maybe you’ve put yourself through college, moved to a new city, fought back cancer, survived a brutal divorce, are raising a special-needs child, served in the military in a time of war, cared for a loved one before they died. Those things are really hard. Eating chicken and asparagus are pretty damn easy by comparison.
Think back to the biggest struggle you ever overcame in your life and remind yourself how strong you are. You are tougher than you think.
Eating clean is hard. So is being overweight. Choose your hard.
