New Quest Pizza

Y’all know that Quest Nutrition is my go-to for protein shakes and protein bars, so I was really excited when they sent me some of their new Thin Crust Pizzas to sample.  They come in a variety of flavors:

  • 4-Cheese: 27 grams of protein and only 6g net carbs per serving
  • Uncured Pepperoni: 28 grams of protein and only 6g net carbs per serving
  • Supreme: 20 grams of protein and only 5g net carbs per serving

I decided to try the 4-Cheese pizza and it was actually pretty tasty.  (My son, Henry, gave it the thumbs up.)  It tasted like regular frozen pizza you would get, but the main difference is that the crust is thin, gluten free and made from whey protein.  Now one word of caution from the personal trainer side of e – the fat content is pretty high at 21g per serving (a serving is half of the 9-inch pizza pie) so this is definitely more of a “clean cheat” than a health food, but let’s face it, sometimes a busy mom just needs a pizza night.  Here’s the total nutrition breakdown:
