December Goals

OMG!  It’s December 1st!  How did that happen???  This year has just flown by.  Before I list my December goals, let’s check in to see how I did for my November goals.

November Goals – How did I do?:

  1. Start training for Spartan RunStatus: Done!  This is going to be a family affair so I started my kids out slow.  We started with just a lap around the yard with our dog, Bruno and have been slowly building up from there.  And by slowly, I do mean slowly.  My son does a 10 minute workout (run on the treadmill for 5 minutes and then hang upside down like a monkey on my home gym equipment) twice a week.  My daughter has run with me three times and did one half-hour boot camp with me.

  2. Find healthy recipes for ThanksgivingStatus: Done!  OK, I’m actually pretty impressed with myself for making a low-cal baked apples recipe that actually tastes good.  You can read it here:  Low-cal Baked Apples

We’re now making that mad dash towards 2018.

December Goals:

  1. Check back with my 2017 New Year’s resolutions/Birthday Scare.  What still needs to be done/carried over to 2018?
  2. Try a new group exercise class, just for fun.
