Sexy Arms Workout
Let’s face it – if you’re wearing a fancy dress you can hide your tummy by wearing Spanx, but your arms? They are often the feature that remains exposed, even in winter.
Here’s an arm workout you can do at home with just some dumbbells to give you toned arms and sexy shoulders.
Standing Dumbbell Curl – Let a pair of dumbbells hang at your side, with palms facing forward. Without moving your upper arms, bend your elbows and curl the dumbbells as close to your shoulders as you can. Slowly lower the weights back to start. Do 3 sets of 15 reps.
Seated Shoulder Press – Sit upright on a bench holding dumbbells by your ears, palms facing out. Press weight up above your head and then slowly lower the weights back to start. Do 3 sets of 12 reps.
Overhead Triceps Extension. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Hold dumbbells above your head with palms facing each other. Without moving your upper arms, lower the dumbbells behind your head. Hold for two counts and then straighten your arms to return to start. Do 3 sets of 12 reps.
Hammer Curl – Let a pair of dumbbells hang at your side, with palms facing each other. Without moving your upper arms, bend your elbows and curl the dumbbells as close to your shoulders as you can. Slowly lower the weights back to start. Do 3 sets of 15 reps.
Farmer’s Walk. Grab a pair of heavy dumbbells and let them hand naturally at your sides. Walk forward for as long as you can while holding the dumbbells. If you can walk longer than 60 second, use a heavier weight.
And remember, the best way to see your muscles is to make sure they aren’t hidden under a snuggly layer of fat. Eat well balanced meals consistently to get the results you want.
