Confession: Caught Necking with Another Guy

Adrianne started it.  Mel’s Machines took a field trip yesterday to an exotic game preserve.  (See?  We do more than just booty camp…um…sometimes way more than expected…)  We saw tigers and rhinos and fed bananas to monkeys.

And then there were the giraffes.

It seemed so innocent.  Let the kids feed some carrots to the giraffes.  But then Adrianne put a carrot between her teeth and the next thing you know our whole team was being kissed by wild animals.

Adrienne started it!

Mel – You’re a newly wed!  Does Chantry know?

It seemed like such a good idea at the time…

But then, I don’t know, maybe I was giving mixed signals, or the giraffe didn’t understand human or notice that my husband and kids were standing right there.  One thing led to another and then…Hey tall guy - Lisa getting kissed by giraffe

So now is your chance to vote (since clearly after posting this picture I will never be able to run for public office…)

How would you title this picture?

  •  Sometimes I go a little wild.
  • What can I say?  I like tall guys.
  • Hey, quit necking in public!
  • (Your snarky comment here)

Note:  If you are making up another quote, please remember this is a PG-13 blog.

  1. Giraffes eat carrots…add another item to the things I didn’t know! Train-on. I saw your gravatar’s blurb, emphasizing “novice,” and I’d like to say that excellence comes from seeing the next level from a humble perspective no matter how advanced you become. Perhaps the goal will change. Perhaps not as drastically as a bodybuilder marrying into a political family then becoming governor or California, but I submit there are more meaningful causes, some of which I’ve seen you blog on lately. Good to catch up with the fun as well as the work. Cheers!
