Noun
- The feeling you get when not being able to use the 12 lb. dumbbells to do bent over rear delt flyes with proper form. Or the 10 lbs…or…um…the 8 lbs?
- Having to use the 5 lb dumbbells that might as well be pink and say “Jazzercise!“
- Did I mention the gym was crowded?
- Crowded with BODYBUILDERS and the 7 time Fitness Olympian Champion whose show I’ll be competing in?
- I think I’ll be downgraded from Mel’s Machines to Tiny Tinker Toys. Meh.
How do you define humility?

Well… on the positive note, at least you didn’t use the 12 pound dumbbells anyways only to injure yourself. So there’s that!
True 🙂
When I did NROLFW there was one movement like that vi was using 15-25lbs on everything but had to use 8 for this. Quite discouraging lol.
Wait – you actually work out at the same gym as Adela???
Yes. Pretty humbling huh?
I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great. I don’t know who you are but certainly you’re going to a famous blogger if you are not already 😉 Cheers!
Thanks for stopping by my blog – you just made my day!
