Pole Dancing – You’ve Come a Long Way Baby!
My friend sent me this link from the 2011 Pole Dancing competition. Don’t worry – there is no nudity or anything risque. She is just an incredible athlete/gymnast and her name is Jenyne Butterfly. At several points I laughed out loud and said, “Oh my God, that’s crazy!”

I decided I want to be a pole dancer.
It’s amazing how much athleticism is needed to execute a pole dance- one of my friends is obsessed with it and got a solid 6 pack doing nothing else. If I wasn’t weight training, I’d be doing this!

She does look like she’s having fun. I had a lot of fun in the beginner class I took. Hey – there was even a pregnant woman in the class! (First trimester though.)
I heard that pole dancing in a great upper body workout.
Yes, it’s an insane upper body workout.

I hope so too. I can’t imagine how long it took her to do that walk in the air move.
