Pay Fit Forward
The biggest key to being healthy is to eat right. And the biggest struggle most people have is that they’re just too busy to cook up healthy meals all week. That’s why I’m really happy to be partnering with My Fit Foods. Their philosophy is that nutrition doesn’t have to be a sacrifice.
My goal with ShesLosingIt.com is to make a healthy lifestyle as accessible as possible. My Fit Foods does that for busy people who want to eat whole, unprocessed foods. Started in a Houston kitchen back in 2006 it has grown to 50 locations in 5 states offering freshly made breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks at an affordable price.
I really like their Pay Fit Forward campaign which is all about encouraging people to eat nutritious food and lead a balanced lifestyle. It’s easier to stick to a healthy diet when you get friends and family on board, right? So customers who purchase a meal at My Fit Food on Friday’s during September will get a Free meal which they can share with a friend or donate to a local charity that MFF has partnered with. That’s a win-win in my book.
They also have a 21-Day Challenge (the typical customer using this program loses 6-15 pounds…in just three weeks.) You don’t have to cook or clean up, just let the nutritionist prepare great food for you.
Here’s how it works. First, you meet with their nutrition consultant to discuss your goals. Are you trying to lose weight? What if you’re a bodybuilder and want to gain lean muscle mass? Or require a low-salt diet? The nutritionist will work with you to figure out the right macronutrients for your specific needs.
Next, you select your meals for the week. You can do this online or in the store. In a day or two you will be notified that your food is ready for pick up. It’s that easy. You can order as few or as many meals as you’d like for the week. The cost ranges from $4.99 – $9.59 per meal, which is comparable to what you would pay for regular take-out, only with My Fit Foods you know the ingredients are fresh, low-cal and healthy.
You know, I get asked all the time to write sponsored posts for various companies; I turn a lot of them down. I know for a fact that I can support this company because my first trainer worked for them a few years ago! I got to see in person the area where they made the food and saw the employees measuring the portions out according to their customized plan. I was impressed by how clean everything was and how good the food sample I had tasted, so I feel confident about recommending this company to you.
