A Text From My Trainer
It’s now time for another episode of A Text From My Trainer.
Today was leg day. For those of you who have never experienced the pain of leg day (which also extends to a big pain in the a**, literally) feel free to read here: Bad Surprise.
Today we did low squats, weighted lunges, kettlebell squats, and every kind of muscle torture you can possibly imagine in between. Here are some texts between me and my trainer, Melissa Merritt Coker, after said workout:
- Lisa: “Dear Mel, Ooooouch, my ass hurts! Sincerely, Lisa”
- Mel: “Dear Lisa, I’m so sorry (but not really.) Love and hearts, Mel”

I have to say that shoulder & chest day is the worst for me. It hurts so bad
I hate chest day too. If you want to hear me curse, come to a chest/shoulder day workout.
