American Grit – Ringing Out at the Circus
Even though I knew how episode 5 of American Grit would end, it was still tough for me to watch/re-live ringing out at the circus.
The reason I chose to be on the show was so I could be a Rocky for Moms. Recently I remembered that in the original movie, Rocky didn’t win either, making me think I should have chosen a different motivational movie, lol…
Even though I felt like the underdog at times, I truly gave it my all, faced my fears and never sacrificed who I was as a person. American Grit was a fantastic experience and I was proud to be one of 16 contestants chosen from 6,500 applicants. Hopefully watching me doing crazy things each week that pushed me mentally, physically and emotionally let you realize how much power is locked inside YOU. Because if I can go from a frumpy overweight mom at 38 to being a 41 year old mother of two drinking whiskey shots with John Cena and Noah Galloway after winning a military evolution running through the forest with a log, then truly ANYTHING is possible.
