What Do I Do With All This CANDY???
Happy Halloween everyone! I don’t know about you, but my kids have buckets full of candy. Left to their own devices they would have a major tummy ache plus a few cavities by the end of the week. Plus, let’s be real, I’ll eat all the Kit Kat bars.
So my question is:
What Do I Do With All This CANDY???
Here is a creative solution – The Halloween Buy Back program. Participating dentists will “buy back” unopened Halloween candy from kids in exchange for things like new toothbrushes and dental floss. The candy is then donated to Operation Gratitude and turned into care packages for our soldiers. Here is the link: Operation Gratitude.
The website has a search engine so you can type in your zip code to find a participating dentist near you. It’s a nice way to put a smile on everyone’s face.
All right, ‘fess up: What’s your favorite candy? (I like Kit Kats and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.)

Your kids are so cute! By the way, if you have any extra Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups you can send them to me for proper disposal. 🙂
Thanks and ha, ha! No way are you getting my Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!! 😉
Peanut butter cups are my favorite. To be honest I let the kid have some and throw the rest away. I have no problem “wasting” garbage. It’s not something anyone needs.
Good point. I need to get the candy out of my house tomorrow.
That’s an awesome program for the candy. Would be so cool here in SA with Christmas.
Fess up: My favorite candy is Lindt Milk chocolate … mmmm
Oh, that’s some seriously good chocolate!
