Tell Me Something Good
OK all you mommy porn fans: E.L. James just tweeted over the weekend the actor picks for the cast of “50 Shades of Grey”.
Anastasia Steele will be played by Dakota Johnson (daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson,) and Christian Grey will be played by Charlie Hunnam of “Sons of Anarchy” fame. Yum.
In other badass current events, Diana Nyad, a 64 year-old-woman, broke records this weekend when swam from Cuba to Florida without a shark tank, flippers or a wetsuit. The epic swim was 103 miles and it took her 53 hours to complete. Even more amazing was that this was her fifth attempt at the swim – that’s right – she’s been working at this goal for four decades! Let’s hear it for determination.
In my personal world, I’m happy that I spent the day at the beach with my family yesterday. So those are the things making me happy today.

I am out of the loop with your blog and fitness, but I did see the news this morning. I think they really didn’t cast correctly. The guy who plays Captain Hook on Once Upon A Time should be Mr. Gray!

I was picturing a more mature looking, sophisticated Christian Grey, like a Daniel Craig type. I see Huffman solely as badass biker.
It will be interesting to see what he does with the role. (Daniel Craig is pretty badass too!)
