Happy International Women’s Day

  Happy International Women’s Day!  I didn’t even know this day existed until I saw someecards.   If you’re wondering what this is about – wonder no more!

This year, International Women’s Day focuses on ending violence against women.  Did you know that up to 7 in 10 women have been violated through rape and other forms of violence?  That’s pretty disgusting.

UN Women is raising awareness about violence against women via the song One Woman, performed by 25 artists from 20 different countries.
