How to Stick to Your Diet on Vacation
One of the biggest concerns my clients share with me is that they are going to gain weight on vacation. Heck, that’s one of my biggest concerns too! Sometimes we’re prone to think that on vacation we’re going to eat eat high calorie foods, never exercise and just get royally off track. But just because you’re on vacation it doesn’t mean you have to stop living a healthy lifestyle.
This year spring break coincided with being seven weeks away from my next bodybuilding competition, where I get to stand on stage in a bikini next to other women and have my physique judged. So you better believe I wasn’t going to let vacation be an excuse to pack on extra pounds (that I would just have to lose anyway.) I made this video to show you that it is possible to stick to your diet on vacation, even when obstacles present themselves.
I show you what to pack for the road trip, what to order at restaurants and how to sneak in fitness with or without a gym. I hope it gives you some ideas you can use on your next trip and empowers and reminds you that YOU are in control of your own health whatever the circumstances can be. Because if I can do it, heck yeah, so can you!
