Pop Quiz: Bust out your VCR’s! What was your favorite old school workout video?
C) Buns of Steel
D) Other
E) What’s a VCR, Lisa?
And the answer is: B, because Tae Bo made me feel like a ninja warrior. And if your answer is E you’re excused from this pop quiz.
How about you? What’s your favorite old school workout?

B! And I still have it 🙂
Ha! Me too!
Also Buns of Steel 🙂
I haven’t really found a modern equivalent that is as effective as Buns of Steel.
The Tae Bo videos could cause injury, though, for those not in optimum shape, speaking from experience. (And I KNEW tae kwon do!).
I could see how one wrong kick could cause some serious damage…in fact that’s how I pulled my muscle earlier this month – a lunge into a kick.
In high school we had to exercise to “Chicken Fat.” That was on a vinyl record.
I have to look this up on YouTube now. 😉
Hello! Sweat into the oldies. When I was a kid I would do it with my mom.
My friend in high school loved that one too!
OMG my answer is B, too! Back in the day I had that set of videos and used the Basic one constantly. A couple times a week I’d do the advanced one and it kicked my butt. Ouch.
I loved those videos. I found them buried in my closet last month and did one – so much fun!
Buns of Steel. LOVED how it scuplted my butt 🙂
It was very effective. (And very funny if you watch it now.)
