Countdown to Crazy Completed
My little man finished nursery school and starts kindergarten in the fall. I’m still not mentally prepared for this. May was an uncharacteristically crazy month for me, so my only goal was to survive May.
Here is a quick check back with my May goals:
1st Pole Dancing Competition.
May 3rd. It seems like a lifetime ago! I did two dance routines, one of which I forgot all the choreography. But it was thrilling and I’m so happy I did it. Also, it helps that I got 2nd place for Novice. I can’t wait to learn more and compete again next year.
Mother’s Day. May 11. There was breakfast and homemade jewelry. What more could a mom ask for?
10th Wedding Anniversary. May 15. Ten years, holy crap!
Spartan Super Run. May 17. Eight (nine) miles of rugged terrain running plus crazy obstacles in between. I loved every minute of it and will do another.
Kids Birthday Parties. May 18. Cause after you’ve just run a Spartan Super Race the very best thing to do is to have a double kids birthday party.
Little Henry’s Last Day of Nursery School. WAAAAAH!!! My Velcro baby is growing up!
So, considering I celebrated some significant events as well as eliminating two items off my bucket list (pole dancing and a Spartan race), I’d say that May was my most productive month since I started writing monthly goals for myself on this blog.
I kind of don’t want to write any goals for June. That’s a lot of pressure to live up to. But I will.
June is all about preparing for my fitness competition, finishing our flip house, getting my book to print (it should be available in August) and hanging out with my kids. Also, I would like to buy a new computer and phone. Those aren’t goals, just wish list items, but if I put it in writing it may actually happen.
How about you? How are you starting your summer?

I am starting my summer by staying inside! Planning my baby shower it is next weekend and I cannot believe I can actually plan events. WHOOP WHOOP! Congrats on your accomplishments. Those are huge. Double kids party after a Spartan race is something you do not hear everyday!
Thanks and how exciting for you! Baby showers are so much fun. All the little clothes and shoes are so CUTE!
