Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and season’s greetings!  I don’t know about you but my December was CRAZY.  In a mere 25 days we’ve:

Marched with the Girl Scouts in the Pflugerville holiday parade to the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Baked a billion Christmas cookies.

Ahh, Christmas cookies…

Hosted a party for our tenants.

Went to a camp out party with friends.

Experienced the first snow in four years.  (In this part of Texas snowfall happens as often as the winter Olympics.)

Snow? In Texas!?!

Had a book signing at Texas Women in Business’ luncheon.

We went to the Trail of Lights in Austin.

And opened a ton of gifts for Christmas.

Whoa! It’s a gift!
Awesome!

Even our dog, Bruno, got in on the action.

For me it was a Merry Fitness.  I got a 10 lb. medicine ball and a 25 lb. dumbbell to replace the one that broke.  (I’m tough on my workout tools.)  I also got an agility and speed kit.  It has a running parachute, cones, hurdles, a speed ladder and you can’t see it but it also has a sled you can put weights on to help to pull behind you.  It’s going to be awesome to torture, I mean challenge, my clients with this when we do boot camp workouts.

Anyway, I’m off to make Christmas dinner.  We already grilled up steak and chicken shish-kabobs after church last night and today I’m making up ham and pineapple.

Yum!

However you celebrate, hope you have a fantastic holiday.  And get ready for New Years – I’m working on a whole challenge for anyone wanting to get fit in 2018.

Happy holidays!

Lisa 🙂
