Competition Prep – 2 Weeks & Water

It’s two weeks until my next bodybuilding bikini competition.  I would love to write about all the fun exercises and posing I’m doing, but I can’t right now because I have to drink water.

I’m exercising a lot and trying to lose the final water weight, which (ironically) means I need to drink more water.  I feel like I should win a trophy for being a pee machine.

Of course, next week is peak week where my H2O slowly gets cut out from my diet, so I’ll probably be blogging about how thirsty I am.

If nothing else, bodybuilding has demonstrated to me how integral food and water is to the appearance of the human body.   You would be amazed what adding protein, removing carbs and changing the amounts of liquids you drink can do not only to your physique, but how it impacts your energy level, mood and memory.
